The Grace Lutheran Youth Ministries are selling gift cards from local merchants.
It's the time of year to spread some holiday cheer! Grace Lutheran Youth Ministries will be selling gift cards throughout the Holiday Season in efforts to raise money for our 2013 Summer Mission Trip.
Here's how it works:
- Families order gift cards from Grace Lutheran Youth Ministries and pay face value.
- Grace Lutheran's Youth Program orders that gift cards from Great Lakes Scrip Center for less than face value.
- The Youth Ministry keeps the difference and that's where the fundraising comes from.
It's really that simple!
Gift Cards make great stocking stuffers, business gifts, teacher gifts, and gifts for out of town family and friends. You can also use gift cards for all your own shopping.
Consider purchasing gift cards today for all Holiday needs. Gift Cards are being sold between services in the Café. If we don't have what you are looking for, order forms are available in the information centers.

- Ladies Bible Study Tue. 21 May, 2013 (7:00 pm - 8:00 pm) The Tuesday evening women's Bible study meets at 7:00 in the computer lab (Room 214). We are currently completing a study called "Jesus the One and Only." We are making plans for the future, however, and would like to invite anyone who is interested to join us for a new adventure in the Word. We will be working through "Experiencing God" by Richard Blackaby and Claude King. Workbooks will be ordered in the near future, and the cost will be $20. If you are interested in ordering a book, please contact Susan Gastler by March 5. The new study will begin on April 9.
- Ladies Bible Study Wed. 22 May, 2013 (7:00 pm - 8:30 pm) You are invited to join each Wednesday following the service as we do our Lenten study of "The Purpose Driven Life" by Rick Warren. We will continue to meet on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 in the computer Lab (Room 214) during Lent. Please feel welcome to join us. - SMCC Yard Sale Sat. 25 May, 2013 (7:00 am - 1:00 pm) The 9th annual yard sale to benefit the Southern Maryland Compassion Center. We will be accepting donations of items to sell as well as renting spaces for people to sell their own items. Reservations for spaces will begin April 29th.
- Worship and Sunday School Sun. 26 May, 2013 (8:00 am - 12:00 pm) 8:00 AM ~ Traditional Liturgical Service (held in the Sanctuary) 9:30 AM ~ Contemporary Liturgical Service (held in the Sanctuary) Sunday School for youth and adults 11:00 AM ~ Praise Service (held in the Family Life Center) Click here for additional information and Special Services!
