NURSERY Our nursery program stresses the development of a positive self-concept and social interaction skills in a loving, nurturing Christian setting. Nursery Classes are offered on the following schedule:
PRE-KINDERGARTEN Our pre-kindergarten program stresses the development of a positive self-concept and social interaction skills in a loving, nurturing Christian setting. Beginning appropriate academic skills including reading readiness and math, are introduced. Pre-Kindergarten classes are offered on the following schedule:
*The 5-day Full Day program will follow the same basic curriculum as the half day classes, with other activities in the afternoon. These include lunch, rest time, activities to further extend the morning lessons, and outside play KINDERGARTEN Our kindergarten program offers a well-rounded academic curriculum, with emphasis on language development and literacy acquisition. Also included are outside play, music, physical education and various other activities. Children who attend all day kindergarten will stay to have lunch, outside play, rest time, reading partners, and further enrichment activities and lessons that extend the morning program. The kindergarten program emphasizes development readiness in all areas: academic, social, emotional and physical.

Our full-day kindergarten program is taught by Miss Susan Gastler. ELEMENTARY Classes begin at 9 AM and end at 3:30 PM.
MIDDLE SCHOOL Our Middle School curriculum consists of the core subjects (language arts, math, religion, social studies and science) as well as extension and enrichment subjects such as home economics, foreign language, physical education, music, computers, and art. Classes are departmentalized and the students interact with a number of different teachers. Our students participate in the Charles County Science Fair, spelling bees, track and field meets, and the reading Olympics. All our middle school teachers have degrees in education and engage in continuing education opportunities. Classes begin at 9 AM and end at 3:30 PM. |
