Cares for the elderly through bible study, devotions, singing and conversation.

The Nursing Home Ministry of Grace Lutheran Church gives church members and opportunity to share the Gospel with people in the community who might not otherwise be able to attend a church service. The worship team visits Abbey Manor Assisted Living Facility in La Plata at 10:15 AM and the Charles Co. Nursing and Rehabilitation Center (CCNRC) at 12:15 PM on alternate Thursdays during the year. The service consists of a short homily, prayers, and the singing of familiar hymns and religious songs.

Current members of the worship team are Don Inks, Ann Stine, Trudy Carlson, Amelia Brandenburg, and Jane O'Farrell. All members of the congregation are welcome to join. This ministry is very rewarding to the people we serve and to the members as well. If you would like to experience a visit with us, please contact Jane O'Farrell.
