Grace Lutheran Church and School is a non-profit, 501(c)(3), Christian organization dedicated to the dissemination of the Good News of salvation through Jesus Christ. As such, our website, www.growingwithgrace.org, strives to uphold the highest standards of Christian conduct. This article explains the content of our site, how the personal information of visitors to our site is handled and the amount of privacy one can expect as a participant in any of our programs.

Contents of Our Site:

This is non-commercial site. The Church does not offer any products or services for sale to the general public except for the Hall Rental and Catering services as advertised. All revenue generated by such services are used exclusively for the financing of the church's ministry. We offer various other items for sale from time to time as fund raisers targeted for specific goals.

The School offers a high quality, Christian education for Nursery School through 8th grade and a before and after scool child care program. The tuition and fees for these services are available either on the site or by request.

There is no transaction processing available through our web site.

We very carefully control the contents of our site to ensure that no illegal, immoral, or offensive content is posted. The site is labeled with ICRA information so users, especially parents of young children, can use filtering software to allow or disallow access to web sites based on the information declared in the label. Our site contains several discussion groups where visitors may post user generated content. The forums are either moderated or closely monitored and any postings not meeting the standards of our site are immediately removed.

Information We Collect from Visitors to Our Site:

When you visit our site no personal information is collected or retained by us. Our site will place several cookies on your computer soley for the purpose of making the site features operate smoothly.

If you choose to create an account on our site we will collect your name, email address and a username and password of your choosing. These items will be stored by us soley for the purpose of granting you access to certain registered areas of our site and for identifying your contributions to any user generated content. You may change your registered name, email address or password at any time though the link provided on the Contact page. Your account will be removed upon request.

We safeguard your registration information with reasonable site security measures to ensure it will not be stolen. We do not sell or provide any of your registration information to any other party. We do not use your email address for marketing or advertising. We will not send any unsolicited email to the address you provide.

Information We Post About Members of Our Organization:

This site is about the people of Grace Lutheran Church and School. From time to time we will post pictures, audio or video containing members of our church or students from our school. We use reasonable care to protect the personal identities of individuals. If at any time you object to your own or your child's likeness on our site we will remove it upon request.

We may publish names, home phone numbers, and personal email addresses in some articles for the purpose of contacting the people mentioned in the articles. This contact data is voluntarily supplied by the individuals in question and may not be used for any purpose other than it's intended.
