Grace Lutheran Church and School offers several different worship formats in an effort to meet the needs of a wide variety of members and friends who worship here. Whatever time of worship or order or service you may choose, we pray that you will encounter the living God and receive His grace and forgiveness and that through the power of God's Word - written, spoken, and sung - you may be empowered to live in Christ's light and to share His Good News with others.

SUNDAY MORNING

8:00 AM ~ Traditional Liturgical Service (held in the Sanctuary)

Our traditional service uses the hymns and liturgy used in the new Lutheran Service Book. Communion is celebrated on the first, third and fifth Sundays during the month and on all festival Sundays.

9:30 AM ~ Contemporary Liturgical Service (held in the Sanctuary)

Children's Sunday School will begin in the worship service then they will be dismissed to their classes. Parents may pick up their children after the service.

11:00 AM ~ Praise & Worship Service (held in the Family Life Center)

Led by the Grace Lutheran Praise Team, this service offers a contemporary worship service through the use of visual media and contemporary Christian music. Communion is celebrated on the second, fourth and fifth Sundays during the month and on all festival Sundays.

Sunday School: Sunday School classes begin at 9:30 am for children, youth and adults.

Nursery Services: Childcare is available for newborns to 5 years of age and is available during all worship services and the Sunday School hour. The nursery is located in Room #121. Upon signing your child in you will be given a pager and it must be kept on and with you at all times. You will be paged to change a soiled diaper or if your child needs you. All pagers are set to vibrate only. Bottles and sippie cups are welcome, but food is not permitted. Please pick up your child promptly after service or Sunday School.

Fellowship: Our fellowship time is held in the back of the Common Ground Café from 9:30 am until 10:45 am. Coffee, donuts and other refreshments are available between worship services and during Sunday School.

WEDNESDAY EVENING

6:30 PM ~ Mid-Week Traditional Service (held in the Sanctuary)

A condensed version of our Sunday morning service.

If you need some personal prayer time, private devotion, or faith in action at the mid‐week point, please join us for the reverence and dignity of our Wednesday liturgical service. Our worship starts at 6:30 PM and ends at 7 PM. This service is specially designed to provide a compelling sense of adoration, praise, and thanksgiving found in the Word of God; strengthened by prayer, confession, the fellowship of Holy Communion (each week); and the mercy of Christ. Come and join us ‐ with needs and prayer requests in tow. We want to pray with you. You will find a much needed divine refuge from the pain and ills of the world. Faith sometimes builds and prays and sings and at other times takes place in reverent silence. Spend some quality time with Christ at Wednesday Chapel and His presence and inspiration will surely follow you home and embrace you the rest of the week. Declare a fast from the world on Wednesday and come into the presence of the Lord and proclaim with the Apostle Thomas, "My Lord and my God."
