The GRUVE

All Jr. & Sr. Youth are invited to attend the GRUVE, for fun, fellowship, and Godly growth.

Our Next GRUVE is Jan. 22nd, 5:30-8:00

Youth To Attend Quake and Zone!

What? Uplifting weekends for students, where faith is taken to the next level. At quake and zone weekends, students will be challenged as they listen to the event speakers, are engaged in group discussions, and are ministered to though musical performances.

Youth Quake

Who? An Event for Students in grades 6-8

When? January 13-14, 2012

Where? Baltimore, MD

Why? To strenghten our faith and fellowship with other Christian youth, just like you.

The cost of the trip is $157, which covers event registration and hotel stay. Money is due by November 9th, in order to reserve your spot at the event. Additional money will be needed for meals.

Youth Zone

Who? An event for High School Students

When? March 2-4, 2012

Where? Virginia Beach, VA

Why? To strenthen faith and grow in God's word, as we fellowship with Christian youth.

The cost of the trip is $165, which includes event registration and hotel stay. A$50 non refundable deposit is due by December 4th in order to reserve your spot at the event. Additional money will be needed to cover meals.

Youth Encounter 2011

Virgina Beach, VA

Had a great time at the Virgina Beach Youth Zone! It was great to see the youth engaged by the speakers and worship in a way that was real and relevant to their lives.

Here's what we learned:

“I’ve learned that God works in unexpected ways. I also learned that fire cannot go where fire has been. The flames of hell cannot go where the flames of the Holy Spirit have been.” ~Audrey (12^th grade)

“I can be beautiful and modest at the same time!” ~Emily (9^th grade)

"God always gives second chances. And he will always love us through our mistakes." ~Sarah (9^th grade)

"We need to be spoons. Forks stab, knives cut." ~ Ben (10^th grade)

"I learned that I am beautiful. God is our forever hope." ~Catherine (10^th grade)

"I learned that when were at the end of our rope, sliding down a slippery slope, feeling so dirty with sin that we need a bar of soap, then look to Jesus because he is our only hope. God is our shield and protector and we are not darkness, we are light and we can make a difference in the world." ~ Bethany (9^th grade)
